Everyone stands in a circle and says with the appropriate emotion a line from her/his script that captures the character.  If you do not have a script yet, say a line that expresses how you are feeling at the moment.
Emotional Cocktail with a twist - the actors are playing their characters with their objectives and issues.
Emotional Cocktail participants: Chynna, Miriam,  Dale, Chris, Millenia

Assigned Nina in the Morning to Montserrat and Elizabeth.

March 6, 2017 - March 10, 2017 Weekly Agenda for Play Production

Monday, March 6th:

Watched A Streetcar Named Desire
Discussion: death versus life - Thanatos versus Eros
Life = sex, passion, art
Belle Reve means beautiful dream
Belle Reve was shattered and destroyed by death
Blanche Dubois tried to escape death and find life through desire
The streetcar which took Blanche  to Stella's apartment in the French Quarter in New Orleans  was called "Desire."
Stanley giving Blanche a check for bus fare back to Auriol, Mississippi, was a death warrant - only death and humiliation awaited her there.
The doctor checking Blanche's eyes by lifting her eye lids was a hint that she might be subjected to a pre-frontal lobotomy, which was the same fate as Rose, Tennessee William's sister, suffered. Tennessee wrote The Glass Menagerie, which was about his unhappy life with his mother and his fragile sister, Rose, whose character's name was Laura.
