October 23, 2017 - October 27, 2017 Weekly Agenda for Play Production

Monday, October 23rd:
Continue copying down the script
Begin work on the "Who-What-Where-When-How" journal
“Who-What-Where-When-How Journal”
As you scour your script, every time you encounter a reference to a person, a place, a thing, or an event, you should create a backstory about the person, place, a thing, or an event.

Example of a "Who-What-Where-When-How" journal entry:

Brighella (The Servant of Two Masters)
“I am the only one who knew Federigo Rasponi”
I remember the first time Federigo
Rasponi walked into my inn.  I had just opened the inn and was a very young man.  I felt intimidated by my clients and customers – all of whom older and more powerful than I. But then one day, this strikingly handsome young man walked in, just a few years older than I. I could tell at a glance he came from wealth and power by the way he carried himself and the elegant clothes he wore.  The day I met him, he was wearing a gold brocade jacket and an elegant blue velvet vest. He caught my eye, gave a most charming smile and introduced himself to me. He was famished and had just taken the boat over from Genoa for a good fish meal which he had heard was my specialty at my Inn. I was flattered….

Acted out backstory with Yaslynn and Angel as Brighella and Federigo.

Began blocking the first two pages of The Scarlet Heart  with Alice, Chandler, and Jessica.
