Week of March 21st, the first day of Spring!

March 21st Schedule
for AIDA

Good afternoon, artists, and techie-artists! Hope you had a restful weekend, sleeping, eating, going to dance classes, vocalizing, attending acting classes, performing in equity-waiver theatre productions, and of course, writing those AP essays. Now back to work!

Monday, March 21st:

Ms. Goldschein will start us off with warm-ups. She will then begin working with the actors and dancers on the first dance of the show. Please be sure to come to class with your dance clothes. Mr. Sacks will allow you to keep your dance clothes in his room until 6th period.

Mr. Sacks will work with the singers.

And Ms. Bridges will work with the costume crew, and will start organizing other crews, such as the prop crew, the ad sales crew, the fund raising crew, and the programs crew.

Everyone needs to write her/his bio today and turn it into the newly formed program crew by Tuesday, March 22nd.

For those of you to whom I have spoken and HAVE GIVEN PERMISSION TO LEAVE AT 3:25 - and you know who you are because I have looked you square in the eye and said you may leave at 3:25 - then you may leave at 3:25. Everyone else must stay until 5 pm.

Tuesday, March 22nd:

Shortened day. Same as above. Come to class prepared to warm up with Ms. Goldschein and then either continue working on dance or working with Mr. Sacks on music. We will work in chronological order through the script.

I will work with the crews during 6th period. When the bell rings at 1:55 the crews may leave.

Dismissal time for the cast is 5:00 pm.

Wednesday, March 23rd - March 25th:

Same as above. Crews will work through 6th period and may leave when i dismiss them at 3:25. Everyone else must stay and continue working with Mr. Sacks on music, Ms. Goldschein on dance, or Ms. Bridges on scenes. Dismissal time each day, Monday through Friday is 5 pm.

Please share this with your parents. If there is a problem or questions, you may e-mail Ms. Bridges at jkatbridge@aol.com.
