The PAM AWARDS VOTING IS NOW OPEN!

To let your vote be heard and be counted, go to tinyurl.com/2017PamAwards and vote!

Voting is open to every Hollywood High School student regardless of SLC.

You must enter your full name and your student id number to vote.

And you can only vote once!

Please RSVP on the sign up sheet on the door of 503 if you plan on attending the PAM Awards Banquet.
By Tuesday, we will have tickets for the dinner. $3 dollar pre-sale and $5 at the door.

Treasurer:
When you collect money, have the students put the money in an envelope with their name on it, the amount of money which is in the envelope, and what the money is for.
Please give it to me asap.
Please be sure to fill out the receipt for each student who gives you money: full name, date, the amount of money given,  and what it is for. 
 For Thespian initiates, have students go to website to input their full name, full address, full e-mail, and date of graduation 
Secretary:
Please pass around a sheet of paper each and every Tuesday Thespian meeting and Thursday Theatre for the members to sign their names. This is to determine who is eligible as a graduating Thespian senior at the end of the year.

Please keep track of who is ushering. This is to determine who is getting points to become a Thespian, or fulfilling their Thespian obligations to qualify for graduation cords.

Before the election, we need to review the constitution, the rules, and the regulations.  The candidates need to make speeches, write an essay to run for office. Ballots will be used and the ballots will be counted by the sponsor and by the officers. The ballots will be kept for a month after the election.

Today’s Agenda:

Rehearse with your scene partner a minimum of five times – full bore, without script, with blocking, and full emotional, mental, and physical commitment.
Then, work on your journals:
1.     Your character’s autobiography – minimum 500 words
2.     A Day in the Life of Your Character – minimum 250 words
3.     Copy your script out by hand! (This helps with memorization.)
4.     The Who-What-Where-When-Why Journal – minimum 500 words
5.     The relationship with the other character in the scene – 250 words
6.     A description of (can include a drawing if you are so inclined) your setting. 250 words
7.     Your objectives – what you want and need moment-to-to moment) 250 words

Each journal is separate.
The journals are due when you present your scene.
The journals are worth 100 points each.
Don’t blow this off;  it will affect your grade….
